This is how she appears once she has transformed. This is the darker and meaner side to Kei, the side she likes to keep hidden from the rest of the world. They say that her demon form is the reincarnation of a very powerful demon from several centuries ago. Which would fit considering her form is that of a phoenix.
When she is transformed she has no real say over what goes on, it’s as though another person has taken over her mind and she can do nothing but lay dormant and wait for it to pass. While in this form she can weave water and ice, hold up against fire elements better and even create ice storms.
